Terms of Use
Version of 30 Oct 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Khidmat Tech Sdn. Bhd. (company no. 202601002071 (1664168-K)), the company that runs JomNext (“we”), with its office at A-3-3, Plaza Bukit Jalil (Aurora Place), No. 1, Persiaran Jalil 1, Bandar Bukit Jalil, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. By creating an account you agree to them. The Privacy Notice says what we do with your personal data.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. Keep to one account, in your own name and with your own email address. It is for you alone: keep your password to yourself, and tell us at dpo@jomnext.com if you think someone else has used it.
What it is, and what it isn’t
JomNext is a free tool for your own job search: your Profile and Resumes, Job Matches, Apply Kits and a Tracker of your Applications. It isn’t an employment agency: we don’t recruit, put you forward to employers, act for you or take a fee from anyone, and we can’t promise you a job, an interview or a reply.
- Jobs come from the LinkedIn, JobStreet and Indeed job alerts you forward and the job links you add. We don’t check every posting, and showing a job isn’t a recommendation of the employer.
- A Job Match’s percentage is our estimate of how well the job fits your Profile, not a prediction.
- A scam flag only warns you about signs we noticed. A job without one isn’t proven safe, and a flagged job isn’t proven a scam. Never pay anyone to get a job.
You apply yourself
You open each job on the employer’s or job site’s own page and submit your application there yourself. We never sign in to, or apply on, a job site for you. Those sites have their own terms, and what an employer decides is up to them.
AI can be wrong
Resumes, cover letters, answers and email readings are drafted with AI, which can be wrong or miss things. We keep the facts to what your Profile says, and mark a figure it lacks as [X] for you to fill in. Read and check everything before you send it: you’re responsible for what you send to an employer.
Your content
What you put in stays yours. You let us store, process and show it only to run JomNext for you, as the Privacy Notice says. Make sure what you add is true and yours to share. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve JomNext without owing you anything for them.
Using it fairly
- Only forward emails to your Hiring Inbox that were sent to you.
- Add other people’s personal data only for your own job search, and only what you’re allowed to share.
- Don’t pretend to be someone else, or use JomNext to recruit, advertise or sell.
- Don’t try to break into, overload, copy or scrape the service, automate it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Our service
JomNext’s software, design and name are ours. It is free, and we may change, add or remove features. If we close the service, we email you first and say so on the site, with time to download your data.
Suspension and ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That deletes everything at once and can’t be undone, so download your data first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk, and we tell you why unless the law or someone’s safety stops us. An account nobody uses for 5 years is deleted, after a warning by email; until then we keep it, so it’s ready for your next job search.
Responsibility
We run JomNext with reasonable care and skill. Because it’s free and depends on employers, job sites and the services it runs on, we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We aren’t responsible for what employers or job sites do or decide, for job postings others wrote, for anything you sent without checking it, or for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for our own negligence or fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit, or takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
Changes, law and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email you before the change takes effect, and the date at the top changes; if you don’t agree, you can delete your account. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If something goes wrong, write to us first at dpo@jomnext.com and we’ll try to put it right; you can still go to the Malaysian courts or, where it applies, the Tribunal for Consumer Claims. These terms are in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and both carry the same weight; if they ever differ, the one better for you applies.
